The Arkansas Arts Council will honor the 2025 Arkansas Living Treasure, Stephen Driver, during a reception 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Boswell Mourot Fine Art at 1501 Main St., Suite H, in Little Rock. Driver has been crafting pottery for more than 50 years and continues to promote his craft through community firings, teachings and exhibitions. You can read more about Driver here. “Art is an essential part of Arkansas’s cultural heritage and gives us the opportunity to honor that by highlighting the work of local artists,” said Shea Lewis, secretary of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism. The reception will include an art talk, feature video, a display of works and catering. Registration is required for this free event, and spaces are limited.
